A Yard Run by Two Very Serious Dogs
Camp Chalupa started the way most good ideas in Darien do — on a porch, with a cigar, and a bulldog snoring louder than the conversation. What began as a couple of rescue bulldogs taking over a backyard off Parsons Walk has grown into a proper ranch: a rotating cast of wrinkled, waddling, deeply unbothered dogs who now run the place.
Every session is presided over by our two founding matriarchs, who supervise from the porch, inspect all visitors personally, and reserve the right to nap through your entire visit if the mood strikes.
